Be Impeccable With Your Word

Negative thoughts are most commonly whispered. They happen at the water cooler, in the halls, at the pub, behind someone’s back. Once spoken, impossible to erase, they take on a life.

Isn’t it strange that words we whisper in confidence carry so much more weight than the words we share in public?
Your whispered thoughts are contagious, be sure what you’re infecting people with is good for them, and worthy.

Sometimes there’s something not being said that lives “in the background”. This “background conversation” is comprised of all of the things that people don’t say publicly, but are concerned about.

If you can start being aware of possible background conversations and bring them to the foreground, you will have the opening to create an environment where people feel safe to express themselves honestly and will engage more fully in working together to generate the results you are seeking.
