Impact Investing Is The New Skool

Venture capitalism used to be the cool kid of finance; high rollers could make or break the success of an innovative business idea, and make heaps of money in the process. Brands like Apple succeeded partly due to venture capitalism. Today, in its early stages, impact investing is being hailed as the new venture capitalism: it’s lucrative, multinational, and says British PM David Cameron, “a great force for social change”.
