A Business Case For Optimism

It might not feel like it, but the world is getting better. Life expectancy is higher, infant mortality and the cost of living has decreased significantly, resource extraction and energy production is cheaper, and nearly half of the earth’s population will have access to the Internet by 2020. In this 2012 TED Talk, engineer and entrepreneur Peter Diamandis provides hard evidence that the continued advancement of technology and business over the last hundred years has and is creating extraordinary opportunities to positively affect lives all over the world.
